Hey, I’m Tigra!
I was born & raised in Doncaster, but I now live in a small village in West Yorkshire with my sprocker spaniel, Penny.
When I'm not behind the lens I enjoy making the most of being outdoors. Whether its hiking through scenic mountains, exploring new cities on a weekend break, camping under the stars or even testing my aim at clay pigeon shooting, I love an adventure! In the winter, I hit the slopes for some skiing and when Summer rolls around you’ll likely find me at a festival dancing to my favourite bands!
These often inspire my creative approach to photography. I believe that the best photographs come from a place of genuine connection and understanding, and I am committed to getting to know each couple to capture their love story authentically.
Where it all began….
From a young age, I was always fascinated by the art of photography. I loved how a single photograph could tell a story, capture an emotion, and preserve a memory forever. I’ve always been the one with a camera in hand, snapping photos of anything and everything - nights out with friends, hikes, holidays, or just my dog looking ridiculously cute!
Before picking up a camera professionally, I worked in the Royal Air Force, then as cabin crew.... When the COVID-19 pandemic grounded flights, I then swapped the skies for a headset as a call handler for the Yorkshire Ambulance Service, before eventually landing a role in the railway industry, where I still work today.
The love for photography eventually led me to invest in my first professional camera a couple of years ago. I started with landscapes, wildlife, and, of course, more dog photos. But then I craved a new challenge, so I decided to give wedding photography a go.
After shadowing some incredible photographers, I quickly realised that capturing the laughter, happy tears, and raw emotions of a wedding day was exactly what I wanted to do. Now, I’ve had the privilege of photographing so many incredible weddings, each one unique in its own way.
Now, alongside my railway career, I photograph weddings and I absolutely love it!
